The Yadmoss Slope

Facilities on the slopes:
There is a stone daylodge and ticket office which was recently built with lottery money and a Sports Council grant.
The day lodge has a Club Room which is heated with seating and tables and toilet facilities. The lodge also has garaging for the piste bashers: two Kassböhrers (picture above) which are used to make the most of any snow.
The ticket office complex is at the bottom of the slope.

Access:
Take the B6277 South out of Alston for 7 miles. The tow is above the road 1.5 miles North of the County boundry. Park at the side of the road (OS91 Grid Ref 773 373). The walk from the car takes 5 minutes.
